Today, the Sindhi community joyfully celebrates Teejri 🌕 — a day filled with love, devotion, and cultural pride.
Women observe a nirjala vrat (fast without food or water) for the health, happiness, and long life of their husbands or future partners. They adorn themselves with mehendi, green bangles, and vibrant traditional attire, gathering in the evening for puja, folk songs, and moon worship 🌕.
This year, Neha Gaja jee 🌕, will be leading the Teejri Puja for all the women. With her blessings and devotion, this sacred occasion becomes even more auspicious and memorable.
As the full moon 🌕 rises, water is offered, prayers are recited, and the fast is broken with joy and togetherness.
